Pet grooming is important to proper pet care, we spend time pampering your pet - trimming, bathing, drying and finish-styling. before bathing, your pet is brushed and combed out, removing all knots and dead hair, he is then pre-clipped or roughed-in. This is basically setting the pattern for a certain style on the dog by clipping the parts of the body and face that will be shorter. Ears are then cleaned and any excess hair removed from just inside the ears, this helps prevent ear infection. His nails are clipped and his teeth are checked for health and condition, we do not clean teeth but may recommend dental attention from your vet. Your pet is then bathed with the proper shampoo for his skin, coat type and condition. If necessary a medicated or flea shampoo will be used, a flea-dip or hot oil treatment may be performed. Any special bathing or treatment will be prearranged with you. During this bathing process your pet's anal glands are expressed and checked, if any problems exists you will be notified at time of pickup. When your pet is dry he goes back on the table for the finishing touches, styling, brushing, clipping and scissoring are all finished at this time.
